Senior Nurse Consultant for Public Policy, Leadership and Education

Discover a fresh perspective on presenting your best professional self to colleagues, patients and others in your professional orbit. Dr. Milstead will offer an overview of making public policy that includes an interactive game she has created. Leadership will focus on how to write an elevator speech and how to seek opportunities for involvement in health policy decision-making.

Dr. Milstead is the founding editor and senior author of Health Policy and Politics: A Nurse's Guide, and Handbook of Nursing Leadership: Creative Skills for a Culture of Safety.
